SCN produces a spring and fall magazine called The Informer and distributes it to students. The Informer educates students about crime and crime prevention.

The bi-annual magazine is written, designed and distributed for students by students. In addition to campus and community resources, crime awareness and prevention information is included in this resource for students.

The Fall 2005 edition of The Informer has a circulation of 50,000 copies.
